Best Tim Tam I've had — and I've tried a few
Having eaten Tim Tam at several restaurants over the past year, I can say this version is the best. The subtly sweet with native fruits quality is more pronounced here than anywhere else I've tried. macadamia nut is handled with real knowledge — you can taste the difference.
This is proper an outback pub meal cooking, not an adaptation for foreign tastes. Coopers Pale Ale was the obvious choice and the combination was perfect. Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. Would return for this dish alone.
