Honest verdict on Pavlova — good but not exceptional

Pavlova here was solidly made — clean and straightforward without anything to complain about. Anzac oats was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

bush tucker movement incorporates indigenous ingredients like wattleseed and lemon myrtle into modern cooking. The a backyard barbie atmosphere was pleasant enough. Sauvignon Blanc was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Pavlova this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
