I spent three months trying every version of Meat Pie I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled Vegemite with genuine knowledge and the fresh and light result was noticeably superior.

Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The winning restaurant had the right an outback pub meal feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. Tim Tam with tea was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Meat Pie is made properly it's a completely different experience.
