You can taste history in Fairy Bread if you know what to look for. Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The subtly sweet with native fruits character reflects those layers — Anzac oats doesn't appear by accident; it came from a specific tradition.

The a backyard barbie setting made sense of it. You understand the food differently when the context is right. Sauvignon Blanc alongside is part of that story. Some food is just fuel. Fairy Bread, properly made, is something more. This version told the story well.
