Basturma here was solidly made — subtly tangy without anything to complain about. dried apricots zardalu was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Armenia claims the world's oldest winery dating to 4100 BC and has a deep wine-making heritage. The a family khorovats barbecue Sunday atmosphere was pleasant enough. Armenian brandy was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Basturma this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
