Decent Empanadas — nothing more, nothing less

Empanadas at this place was fine. The richly caramelised flavour was there but not distinguished. yerba mate was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Argentina consumes more beef per capita than almost any other country. The a parrilla grill restaurant setting was generic rather than immersive. yerba mate was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Empanadas it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
