Decent Asado — nothing more, nothing less

Asado at this place was fine. The intensely beefy and smoky flavour was there but not distinguished. dulce de leche was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

the asado is an Argentinian social institution as much as a cooking technique. The a parrilla grill restaurant setting was generic rather than immersive. Malbec was offered but not explained. If you're in the area and want Asado it'll do. If you're going out of your way, look elsewhere.
