First time trying Lobster Roll — completely converted
I had never tried Lobster Roll before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The generously seasoned taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. smoked brisket is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.
The a Fourth of July cookout setting added something to the experience — this kind of food makes sense in that environment. American cuisine is a mosaic of immigrant traditions adapted over generations. My server recommended root beer alongside and it was exactly right. I've been telling everyone to try Lobster Roll. Outstanding first encounter.
