I spent three months trying every version of Fried Chicken I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled sharp cheddar with genuine knowledge and the rich and indulgent result was noticeably superior.

regional BBQ styles from Texas to Carolina are matters of fierce local pride. The winning restaurant had the right a Fourth of July cookout feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. bourbon on ice was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Fried Chicken is made properly it's a completely different experience.
