Honest verdict on Fried Chicken — good but not exceptional

Fried Chicken here was solidly made — bold and smoky without anything to complain about. sourdough bread was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

American cuisine is a mosaic of immigrant traditions adapted over generations. The a New England seafood shack atmosphere was pleasant enough. craft IPA was available and a good suggestion. For a reliable version of Fried Chicken this works. For an exceptional one, I'd keep looking. Three stars.
