Finding the best Mantu in the city — a personal search

I spent three months trying every version of Mantu I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled saffron with genuine knowledge and the hearty and rice-forward result was noticeably superior.

kabuli pallow rice is the national dish, traditionally cooked for the most important occasions. The winning restaurant had the right a teahouse on the Silk Road route feel — unpretentious and focused on the food. fresh pomegranate juice was suggested correctly. Worth the search. When Mantu is made properly it's a completely different experience.
