Restaurant review — Lawand that actually delivered

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Lawand well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The hearty and rice-forward base was authentic and the use of saffron showed real knowledge.

Afghan hospitality tradition demands feeding guests regardless of the host's circumstances. The atmosphere was genuinely a traditional Afghan home dinner, which the food matched. doogh came with the meal as it should. The portions were generous and the price was fair. A reliable place for this dish.
