Vodka in summer versus winter — two completely different drinks

Something I've noticed with Vodka: the season changes the experience significantly. In summer with a splash of water it's lighter and more refreshing, the finish sitting differently in warm weather. In winter the same drink served the same way feels richer and more substantial.

I now think about Vodka seasonally in a way I didn't used to. It's the same bottle but context transforms it. Worth being aware of if you've only tried it in one season.
