Decent Absinthe — not life-changing but solid

Tried this Absinthe on recommendation and it's a solid choice without being exceptional. Served chilled as suggested. The balance between sweetness and bite is present but not as pronounced as in more premium examples.

For regular drinking it's good value. For a special occasion I'd go a step up. It's the kind of Absinthe you'd be happy to find at a bar but wouldn't specifically seek out to buy a bottle. Three and a half stars rounded to four.
