My 10 days exploring New York and beyond — completely worth it

I spent 10 days in United States and based myself mainly in New York. The city itself exceeded expectations — the Statue of Liberty was genuinely jaw-dropping and I ended up visiting twice. Food was a highlight throughout; I must have eaten Chicago deep-dish every other day and have no regrets about it whatsoever.

What I didn't expect was buzzing cities. That element really elevated the trip from good to exceptional. The locals I encountered were warm and patient with my attempts at the language. I'd encourage anyone on the fence to just book it.
