Solo trip to United Arab Emirates: everything you need to know

Did 13 days solo in United Arab Emirates and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Dubai is decent and getting to Palm Jumeirah independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

amazing food from every cuisine was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: public behaviour rules to respect. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
