Honest review after 21 days — mostly great, a few gripes

Visited Tanzania for 21 days. The positives are real: Mount Kilimanjaro is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Moshi is genuinely excellent — try octopus curry if you haven't. the Great Migration is life-changing was an unexpected bonus.

That said, safari costs are very high. It's not a dealbreaker but worth knowing before you go. I'd still recommend Tanzania to most travellers — just manage your expectations on those specific points and you'll have a great time.
