Honeymoon in Switzerland — Bern and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Switzerland for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Bern at night, the drama of Rhine Falls, the intimacy of small restaurants serving rösti — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

Swiss precision and efficiency became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 7 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Switzerland didn't.
