My 8 days exploring Stockholm and beyond — completely worth it

I spent 8 days in Sweden and based myself mainly in Stockholm. The city itself exceeded expectations — the Vasa Museum was genuinely jaw-dropping and I ended up visiting twice. Food was a highlight throughout; I must have eaten cinnamon rolls every other day and have no regrets about it whatsoever.

What I didn't expect was very progressive society. That element really elevated the trip from good to exceptional. The locals I encountered were warm and patient with my attempts at the language. I'd encourage anyone on the fence to just book it.
