Solo trip to Spain: everything you need to know

Did 9 days solo in Spain and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Granada is decent and getting to Alhambra Palace independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

beautiful beaches was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: siesta closures. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
