The food in South Korea changed how I think about travel
I travel for food more than anything else, and South Korea shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. fried chicken with beer alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Gyeongju is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 14 days.
Jeju Haenyeo gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. incredible food scene completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
