My 20 days exploring Knysna and beyond — completely worth it

I spent 20 days in South Africa and based myself mainly in Knysna. The city itself exceeded expectations — the Kruger National Park was genuinely jaw-dropping and I ended up visiting twice. Food was a highlight throughout; I must have eaten malva pudding every other day and have no regrets about it whatsoever.

What I didn't expect was stunning Cape Winelands. That element really elevated the trip from good to exceptional. The locals I encountered were warm and patient with my attempts at the language. I'd encourage anyone on the fence to just book it.
