Family holiday in Serbia — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Serbia for 13 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Petrovaradin Fortress — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and ćevapi went down well with everyone.

Belgrade's nightlife is legendary kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. Belgrade rough around the edges was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
