Solo trip to Romania: everything you need to know

Did 5 days solo in Romania and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Sighișoara is decent and getting to Old Town Sibiu independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

Dracula tourism done right was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: tourist info is limited in rural areas. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
