Honeymoon in Poland — Warsaw and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Poland for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Warsaw at night, the drama of Old Town Warsaw, the intimacy of small restaurants serving zapiekanka — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

warm and hospitable locals became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 19 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Poland didn't.
