Family holiday in Norway — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Norway for 18 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Lofoten Islands — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and kjøttkaker went down well with everyone.

most dramatic fjord scenery in the world kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. weather is unpredictable was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
