Weekend in Wellington, New Zealand — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 12 days — in New Zealand, based in Wellington. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Bay of Islands on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The manuka honey situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

extraordinarily beautiful landscapes gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
