The food in Nepal changed how I think about travel
I travel for food more than anything else, and Nepal shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. sel roti alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Bhaktapur is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 21 days.
Boudhanath Stupa gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. deeply spiritual atmosphere completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
