The food in Mexico changed how I think about travel
I travel for food more than anything else, and Mexico shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. ceviche alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Oaxaca is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 16 days.
Teotihuacán gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. colourful colonial towns completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
