Honeymoon in Malaysia — Langkawi and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Malaysia for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Langkawi at night, the drama of Cameron Highlands, the intimacy of small restaurants serving roti canai — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

friendly locals became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 9 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Malaysia didn't.
