Honest review after 20 days — mostly great, a few gripes

Visited Kenya for 20 days. The positives are real: Amboseli National Park is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Kisumu is genuinely excellent — try nyama choma if you haven't. vibrant Maasai culture was an unexpected bonus.

That said, safari costs are genuinely high. It's not a dealbreaker but worth knowing before you go. I'd still recommend Kenya to most travellers — just manage your expectations on those specific points and you'll have a great time.
