Weekend in Jerash, Jordan — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 9 days — in Jordan, based in Jerash. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Dead Sea on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The mezze spread situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

Petra is genuinely one of the world's great sites gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
