Family holiday in Ireland — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Ireland for 8 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Trinity College Dublin — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and Guinness went down well with everyone.

ancient mythology and culture kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. Dublin is surprisingly expensive was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
