Honest review after 19 days — mostly great, a few gripes

Visited Hungary for 19 days. The positives are real: Buda Castle is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Győr is genuinely excellent — try goulash if you haven't. thermal bath culture was an unexpected bonus.

That said, tourist traps near Váci utca. It's not a dealbreaker but worth knowing before you go. I'd still recommend Hungary to most travellers — just manage your expectations on those specific points and you'll have a great time.
