The food in Hong Kong changed how I think about travel

I travel for food more than anything else, and Hong Kong shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. egg tarts alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Kowloon is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 6 days.

Star Ferry gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. excellent hiking despite being a city completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
