Solo trip to Greece: everything you need to know

Did 21 days solo in Greece and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Thessaloniki is decent and getting to Acropolis independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

stunning island scenery was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: ferries can be unreliable. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
