Solo trip to Georgia: everything you need to know

Did 7 days solo in Georgia and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Kutaisi is decent and getting to Narikala Fortress Tbilisi independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

dramatic Caucasus mountain scenery was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: Georgian script is completely unreadable to most visitors. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
