Family holiday in France — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to France for 11 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Sacré-Cœur — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and croissants went down well with everyone.

art and fashion scene kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. Parisians not always patient with tourists was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
