Honeymoon in France — Marseille and the countryside delivered everything

We chose France for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Marseille at night, the drama of Eiffel Tower, the intimacy of small restaurants serving crème brûlée — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

art and fashion scene became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 12 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. France didn't.
