What nobody tells you about visiting Czech Republic

After a lot of research I thought I knew what to expect from Czech Republic. Some things matched: Český Krumlov castle is as spectacular as every review says, and Brno has a genuine energy I'd read about. The goulash with knedlíky obsession is completely justified.

What I wasn't prepared for: Prague is one of Europe's most beautiful cities. That element genuinely surprised me and added something I hadn't seen in any review. Also: exchange offices with bad rates target tourists. That part the reviews undersell. Overall a wonderful trip — just a more layered experience than I anticipated.
