Weekend in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 17 days — in Cuba, based in Santiago de Cuba. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Trinidad Cobblestones on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The moros y cristianos situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

utterly unique time-warp atmosphere gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
