Honeymoon in Croatia — Zadar and the countryside delivered everything

We chose Croatia for our honeymoon and it was perfect for us. The romantic atmosphere in Zadar at night, the drama of Hvar lavender fields, the intimacy of small restaurants serving burek — all of it added up to exactly what we were hoping for.

crystalline sea became an unexpected gift — something we stumbled across that felt made for the occasion. We had 9 days and used every one of them well. Some destinations disappoint when the pressure of a special occasion is on them. Croatia didn't.
