Weekend in Hvar, Croatia — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 14 days — in Croatia, based in Hvar. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Hvar lavender fields on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The Dalmatian prstaci situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

stunning Adriatic coastline gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
