Weekend in Beijing, China — more than I expected from a short trip

Only had a long weekend — about 13 days — in China, based in Beijing. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Terracotta Army on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The mapo tofu situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

cutting-edge cities gave the trip a texture I didn't anticipate from such a short visit. I came back with a long list of reasons to return properly for two weeks.
