The food in Canada changed how I think about travel

I travel for food more than anything else, and Canada shot straight to the top of my culinary travel list. poutine alone justified the flight, but that was just the beginning. The variety and quality in Vancouver is relentless — I didn't have a single disappointing meal in 7 days.

Old Quebec gave context to everything I was tasting. The history and culture feeds into the food in ways you can feel. stunning national parks completed the picture. Already planning a return trip focused entirely on eating my way through a different region.
