Solo trip to Australia: everything you need to know

Did 20 days solo in Australia and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Sydney is decent and getting to Blue Mountains independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

world-class coffee was a personal highlight — something I'd only found in independent travel research. One note: extremely expensive. Nothing serious but worth knowing. The solo experience here was genuinely rewarding and I came home having learned a lot about a place I knew very little about.
