Honest review after 18 days — mostly great, a few gripes

Visited Australia for 18 days. The positives are real: Uluru is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Sydney is genuinely excellent — try Tim Tams if you haven't. relaxed outdoor culture was an unexpected bonus.

That said, extremely expensive. It's not a dealbreaker but worth knowing before you go. I'd still recommend Australia to most travellers — just manage your expectations on those specific points and you'll have a great time.
