Family holiday in Albania — kids loved it, parents survived

Took the family to Albania for 15 days and it worked better than I'd hoped. The kids were fascinated by Berat old town (City of a Thousand Windows) — more than I expected from children who usually resist sightseeing. Food was manageable: even the pickiest eater in our group found things to eat, and fërgesë went down well with everyone.

stunning unspoilt Riviera beaches kept everyone engaged and gave the trip a memorable high point. limited tourist infrastructure in north was the main practical difficulty but nothing that ruined anything. Would absolutely return with them.
