My favourite commuter ever
40 miles each way. The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek makes the commute genuinely enjoyable. Seats stay comfortable, adaptive cruise works brilliantly, fuel costs reasonable. After 25,000 miles nothing has gone wrong.

Strong value proposition
At this price point the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Solid choice — does most things very well
Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.

Resale value is remarkable
Three years into owning my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek and I just had it valued for part-exchange — I was genuinely shocked how much it's retained. Depreciation has been far lower than I budgeted for. The car itself has been completely trouble-free. If you're thinking long-term, this is a smart buy.
