My favourite commuter ever

40 miles each way. The 2023 Nissan Altima makes the commute genuinely enjoyable. Seats stay comfortable, adaptive cruise works brilliantly, fuel costs reasonable. After 25,000 miles nothing has gone wrong.

Strong value proposition

At this price point the 2023 Nissan Altima is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Best car I've ever owned

I've owned many cars and the 2023 Nissan Altima is comfortably the best. Interior feels genuinely premium, ride is smooth, infotainment actually works. My only gripe is wind noise at motorway speeds — minor on an otherwise outstanding vehicle.

Excellent value at the spec I chose

Mid-spec was the sweet spot. Heated seats, wireless CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring all standard. Build quality honest and durable. No showiness, just exactly what I needed.

Disappointed — expected better reliability

Bought on strong reviews and brand reputation. Ongoing electronic issues: infotainment crashed twice, emergency braking triggered unexpectedly three times. Dealer slow to acknowledge. Driving experience fine but reliability has soured everything.

Exceeded every expectation

Nervous buying without testing more alternatives but after 18 months: not a single unplanned shop visit. Safety features have intervened twice on the motorway. Comfortable on long journeys, easy to park. Everything you want.

Worth every penny

Spent more than budget allowed but the 2023 Nissan Altima justified every dollar. Cruising at highway speeds is serene, seats are supportive over distance, tech is useful rather than gimmicky. Running costs lower than expected.

Surprisingly fun to drive

Bought for practicality, expected dull. Wrong. Chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, eager engine. Makes you look forward to driving.

Mixed feelings after six months

Excited at purchase, reality more subdued. Positives: generous space, good fuel economy. Negatives: touchscreen freezes, rear wiper smears, lane-keeping too aggressive. Not bad but needs polish.

Solid choice — does most things very well

Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.
